Unofficially Ms Grybauskaite has won the Lithuania’s Presidential elections

Unofficial reports are informing that Ms Dalia Grybauskaite (Ms D.G.) has been elected as a next President of Lithuania.

The head of the election committee Mr Vaigauskas announces at 2000 that by 1900 some 49.4% of citizens has voted.  The ballots closed at 2000.  The previous Parliamentary and Seimas’ elections allow as to make an assumption that 50% fresh hold will be met.

Lietuvos Rytas TV and the BNS agency has announced that exit polls indicates a clear Ms D.G.’s lead, some 67.9% voted for her.  The second most popular candidate, the chairman of the Social Democratic party Mr Butkevicius, received 11.8%.
