Lithuanian business daily editorial is almost certain that the diplomatic row between the UK and Russia will not deteriorate further since Russia still has not accomplished its aim of investing and buying assets in the Western Europe.  Further decoration is not in interest of the Russian business elite which is buying property in Europe not ‘just for pleasure’.

Further more the UK investment in Russia is USD 3,3 bln and should double that over next year.  It is also unclear what kind of money the UK is investing into Russia, since a lot of the UK investment is coming from the Russians themselves.

Hence Kremlin cannot afford to be nasty and it will make everything possible not to harm the trade between the two countries
